Macedonian feature film “Amok”, by the director Vardan Tozija, won the Main Prize at this year's International Film Festival in Kitzbühl, Austria, which took place from 21 to 27 August, establishing itself as one of the most successful films of the recent Macedonian cinematographic history.

The jury composed of Patricia Aulitzky (actress), Michel Bergmann (journalist and critic), Julia Dietze (actress and producer), Nils Dünker (producer) and Aet Laigu (writer and producer), decided to give the award to “Amok”, because of the uniqueness of the expression and the way in which an unusual story is expressed through a specific film language.

This is another international recognition for the film that depicts the world of children's orphanages. The main roles are interpreted by: Martin Gjorgoski, Deniz Abdula and Nikola Ristanovski. Macedonian producer of the film is Ognen Antov from “Dream Factory”.
