Blagoja Kunovski is a member of the jury at the prestigious festivals in Karlovy Vary and Munich

Blagoja Kunovski Dore, a film critic, long-time selector and current director of the Manaki Brothers Film Festival, is a member of the jury at two prestigious film festivals held in Karlovy Vary and Munich this time.

On the 52nd edition of the film festival in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, which runs from 30 June to 8 July this year, Kunovski is a part of the three-member commissioning committee for the “Federa” award, a significant film award given by the Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean . This federation was established in Cannes in 2010, and the Federa Award is awarded during the relevant international film festivals. In Karlovy Vary, the prestigious “Federa” award will be given for the Best movie category.

On the film festival in Munich, which is held from June 22 to July 1, Blagoja Kunovski-Dore is a member of the three-member jury of the extremely influential international federation of film critics and journalists FIPRESCI, which awards the best film. This year, besides Kunovski, members are Vica Siminova from Russia and Luke Imhan from the Netherlands.

The International Film Festival in Munich exists since 1983, and this year it hosts about 2,000 film professionals from the world and 500 accredited journalists.
