European premiere of "Amok" in the Netherlands
The Macedonian film "Amok", written and directed by Vardan Tozija had its first screening in front of the Dutch audience at "Eastern Neighbours Film Festival" which runs November 9-13 in Hague. The festival presents the best films from eastern and south-eastern Europe in order to bring cinema of these countries closer to the Dutch audience. The screening of “Amok” took place on November 10 at 09:45 pm within the competition section "CURRENT ENGAGING CINEMA".
The main roles in the film went to Martin Gjorgoski, Deniz Abdula and Nicola Ristanovski. Other actors include Sarah Klimoska, Ljupco Todorovski, Adem Karaga, Goran Stojanovski, Igor Stojcevski, Boris Damovski, Marija Kondovska, Risto Burazdenov, Martin Živkovski and others.
Make-up design and masks were made by Goran Ignjatovski, costume designer is Zaklina Krstevka, sound designer is Igor Popovski with music by Aleksandar Pejovski set design by Kiril Spaseski and Natasha Dimitrievska, director of photography is Vladimir Samoilovski, Atanas Georgiev is editor with casting by Kirjana Nikoloska.
Macedonian producer of the film is Ognen Antov (Dream Factory), co-producer of the film is Red helicopter films from Albania. The film is financially supported by the Macedonian Film Agency and SEE Cinema Network.
