“Fight for death” on the festival “Kino Pavasaris” in Lithuania

The short film “Fight for death”, by the author Eleonora Veninova will participate in the official competition at the Film Festival “Kino Pavasaris”, which will be held from 23 March to 4 April 2017 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The film is one of the 30 short films selected in the international selection, and the festival participate in a direct invitation from the organizer. On the 22nd edition of the festival, it will be screened over 200 films in several categories. 

Earlier, in late March, “Fight to Death” will participate in the International Week short film in Regensburg, Germany, also in the official competition. 

This is an extension of the Festival's success last year, when “Fight for Death” won two awards, “Golden Cat” for the second best film in the international competition of the Short Film Festival in Izmir, Turkey and the prize for Best Actor at the International Short Film Festival in Drama, Greece.

“Fight for death” so far participated in over twenty festivals worldwide, including a festivals that are qualifying for a BAFTA, Oscar and European Film Awards.

Paradoxical drama in which two old men arguing about the last burial place in a desolate Macedonian village, was realized last summer in Mariovo’s village Kalen. The film is written and directed by awarded Macedonian film author Eleonora Veninova. In the role of both grandfathers are actors Mite Grozdanov and Ilija Strumenikovski, director of photography is Dimo Popov. Producer is Goce Kralevski for DNF Films. The film was financed by the Macedonian Film Agency.
