Jana Stojanovska Wins Best Actress Award For Her Role In "The Bit Player"


Macedonian actress Jana Stojanovska has been awarded with a River Pearl Award for Best Actress for her role in "Bit Player" at the 2nd edition of the "Silent River Film Festival" which took place October 11-14 in Irvine, California, USA.


The film, directed by Igor Aleksov and  starring Jana Stojanovska, Silvija Stojanovska, Predrag Pavlovski and Igor Angelov, has received two nominations in the Best Short Film and Best Actress categories, competing against 31 short films from 10 participating countries.

This is a third major award for the film, after winning Best International Short Prize at the 2012 Hollyshorts Film Festival in Los Angeles and scooping the 2011 Skopje Film Festival Grand Prix.
