Macedonian Feature Film Project

The Macedonian feature film project "Unforgettable Summer in a Forgetful Village" won Award for Best Pich at PriForum, which took place 25-27 April in Prishtina, Kosovo as part of the Prisfest Film Festival. The project, written and directed by Kushtrim Bekteshi, is produced by the production company Manufaktura and is supported by the Macedonian Film Agency, with secured co-productions from Kosovo, Albania and France.
The competition was attended by both the director Kushtrim Bekteshi and the producer of the film, Sasho Pavlovski.The  international jury consisted of Chedomir Kolar (producer and Academy Award nominee for the film "Before the Rain", and Academy Award  winner for the film "No Man's Land" and winner of two awards at the International Berlin Film Festival), Karen Adler (international expert on film funding working with PARAMOUNT, WARNER, PATHE, ALLIANCE), Cathy de Haan  (German expert) and Shari Page (producer of Outfest Los Angeles).
The prize consists of a statuette and a cash prize awarded by the renowned British actress Vanessa Redgrave. The project was also unanimously voted the best by the members of the audience.

The Award ceremony will take place on 2 May, within the festival's closing ceremony.
