"Mothers" Opened Trieste Film Festival, “Lasarus” In search Of Co-producers And Distributors

The film "Mothers" directed by Milcho Manchevski had its gala screening yesterday, January 19, as part of the opening ceremony of the 23rd Edition of Trieste Film Festival, which will last till January 25. This is Milcho Manchevski's second film screened at this festival, following his 1994 “Before The Rain” (which was that year's winner of Golden Lion at Venice  Film Festival) alongside various number of short  films and videos by this respected director.
In addition, Svetozar Ristovski's "Lasarus" is to be presented at the co-production film market  WEMW (When East meets West), which is part of Trieste Film Festival. The film was among the 10 selected projects in development that have already been pitched at other co-production markets ("Lasarus" was previously  presented at the Thessaloniki IFF and Sofia IFF co-production markets.)
