“Nightlife” by Damjan Kozole Awarded at Karlovy Vary Film Festival



The film “Nightlife” directed by Damjan Kozole won “Crystal Globe” award for Best Director at the prestigious 51. Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Czech Republic (01-09.07.2016).

The film, a co-production between Slovenia, Macedonia (Sisters and Brother Mitevski Production), and Bosna and Hercegovina had its world premiere on 06.07.2016 within the official selection of the festival. The feature film “Home Sweet Home” by Faton Bajraktari, a co-production between Kosovo and Macedonia (Arnel Production), was screened within the program "East of the West".

“Requiem for Mrs. J” by Bojan Vuletic a minority co-production between Serbia, Bulgaria and Macedonia (Skopje Film Studio) has been chosen as best project in the programme „Works in progress“ and won the award in a total value of 100.000 EUR which is a combination between financial support and post – production services.

The films are supported by the Macedonian Film Agency as minority co-productions.
