Requiem for Mrs. J Selected At Karlovy Vari Film Festival "Works In Progress" Programme



"Requiem for Mrs J." by Bojan Vuletic has been selected for the "Works in Progress" Programme, which will take place within the frame of Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (July 1-9). The film is a co-production between Serbia (SEE FILM PRO), Bulgaria (Geopoly Film) and Macedonia (Skopje Film Studio).

The programme "Works in Progress" aims at producers and directors from Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey and the former Soviet Bloc who are given the chance to introduce their new films that are in production, post-production or have just been released and will premiere after the Karlovy Vary IFF. The total nubmer of selected projects for the programme is 8.

The best project will receive an award 100 000 EUR by the festival partners (60.000 EUR for picture postproduction at UPP, 30.000 EUR for audio postproduction at Soundsquare and 10.000 EUR in cash by Barrandov Studio - for completing the film in the post-production phase).

"Requiem for Mrs. J" is financially supported by the Macedonian Film Agency as a Macedonian minority co-production.
