"The Man Who Wouldn't Die" At Several Film Festivals


The animation film “The Man Who Wouldn’t Die” by Goce Cvetanovski, has been chosen for the Animated Night programme of 13th Anilogue International Animation Festival, taking place on November 25-29 in Budapest. The film will also be screened within the Eastern and Central European Panorama at the 12th edition of Animateka International Animated Film Festival, which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, 7-13 December 2015. The ilm will be screened on Tuesday, 8th December at 12:00 at the Kinodvor cinema.

The film already had a screening as part of the program of Hrizantema Horror and Fantasy Film festival, which took place October 30-November 1, 2015 in Subotica, Serbia and won the award for Best Animation Film.

 In the following period the film will also be screened within the official competition of Euroshorts 2015 International Contest, which will take place November 23-29 in Warsaw, Gdansk and Katowice in Poland, as well as Animax Skopje Animation Festival which will run November 5-8 in Skopje, Macedonia.

“The Man who wouldn’t die” tells the story of a man who commits suicide, but when Death comes to take him, he changes his mind. So Death makes him a proposal: they will play the traditional chess game, and for each figure he will lose, Johnny must sacrifice a person he loves. The deadly game starts to unfold.
