“The Man Who Wouldn’t Die” Selected in Rio de Janeiro


The animation film “The Man Who Wouldn’t Die” by Goce Cvetanovski, has been selected to be screened as part of the International Animation Film Festival ANIMACURSED, which will take place September 3-13 in Rio de Janeiro.

The film has already had its world premiere in July, at Cartoon Club-International Festival of Animation Cinema and Comics in Rimini, Italy.

“The Man who wouldn’t die” tells the story of a man who commits suicide, but when Death comes to take him, he changes his mind. So Death makes him a proposal: they will play the traditional chess game, and for each figure he will lose, Johnny must sacrifice a person he loves. The deadly game starts to unfold.   

The film is supported by the Macedonian Film Agency.
