The premiere of “The little gypsy witch"

The premiere of the feature film “The little gypsy witch", a Croatian-Austrian-Macedonian coproduction, directed by Tomislav Žaja, was screened at the National program of the 58th edition of the Pula Film Festival on July 19th, 2011 at 21:30. The film is a musical comedy with fantasy elements and portrays the life of an unusual family as seen through the eyes of a 10 year old girl. The main roles are played by Selma Ibrahimi and Marin Arman Grbin. The character of grandma Ilonka is played by Sabina Ajrula, while the rest of the cast includes Emran Kurtisova, Severdzan Bajram, Irfan Nezir and Dilaver Muaremov. The film is supported by the Macedonian Film Fund, as well as by the European Film Fund – Eurimages.

The Pula Film Festival is held from July 9th – 23rd. It is the most frequented Croatian film festival.
