“Three days in September” with another award for best film
Three Days In September - a co-production between Skopje Film Studio and Ikone Studio from Kosovo - directed by Darijan Pejovski won the best film award at the Film Festival Balkan Florence Experience, held for the 6th time in Florence, Italy, from February 22nd to February 25th.
The festival presents an overview of the best and the latest production of documentary and feature films from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Albania. The films presented are selected in cooperation with: Association of Directors in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Cinedays (Macedonia), Croatian State Archives (Croatia), Free Zone Festival (Serbia), Film Festival in Pristina, Restart (Croatia), Sarajevo Film Festival (Bosnia and Herzegovina), International Film Festival in Tirana (Albania).
The "Balkan Bridges" Award is a special award which starting from this year is awarded to directors of feature and documentary films that primarily managed to strengthen human rights in their films. A jury composed of film critics and Balkan experts decided that this award belongs to "Three Days in September" by the director Darijan Pejovski, who is also the screenwriter of the film, together with Igor Ivanov.
