“When The Day Had No Name” by Teona Strugar Mitevska collects another two awards



After the award on Cineuropa, the European Film Festival in Lecce, Italy, the Macedonian film “When The Day Had No Name” by Teona Strugar Mitevska won another two prestigious awards.

On the 23rd Auteur Film Festival in Belgrade, the Macedonian film has collected the prestigious award by the film critics, FIPRESCI.

This week the film received another acknowledgment – at the 11th Mostar Film Festival, focused on actors, the award for debut performance was attributed to the actors ensemble from Teona’s film.

The film continues to travel around the world – in November it was presented on six festivals around the world, the last festival this month is in Cairo, Egypt. In the December the cinema distribution will begin in Belgium and in Serbia, and from January in Slovenia as well. The cinema distribution in Southeast Asia and China is announced for the next year.
